WATCH ME SLEEP is a raw, darkly comic autopsy of a dysfunctional
relationship between two Australians, bringing toxic love from Down
Under to New York City.
In a cramped studio apartment, Ava and Emmett oscillate between
tenderness and brutality, passion and destruction. The audience becomes
a silent third character - a mutual friend to the couple that acts as a
sounding board throughout the play - pulled into their cycle of toxic
love, rage, and intimacy.
